Not sure of what to do this weekend?  Looking for something different, check out our events calendar for some ideas on what to do with family and friends.  There are Farmers' Markets in Lake Carmel, Cold Spring and Brewster.  Visit the Tilly Foster Farm on Route 312 in Carmel or walk the new trails along Lake Gleneida or follow the rail trail of the Old Put Railroad line that winds its way through Brewster, Carmel and along Route 6 toward Mahopac.  Looking for something a little more strenuous?  Consider the Appalachian Trail on the western end of the County that will sure to please. 

Fireworks are part of the holiday experience too.  Be sure to check out the display on Sunday, July 4th over the shore of Lake Carmel in the Town of Kent.  The show is beautiful and never fails to please.  It is part of the holiday tradition in Lake Carmel!
